Green States Energy, Inc., is an independent power producer (“IPP”) focused on developing, acquiring, owning, and operating clean energy generation facilities to provide clean, reliable electric generation to local governments and utilities, as well as commercial and industrial clients. We currently own more than 8MW of operating solar PV facilities with total annual output of more than 10 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, plus two projects contracted for construction totaling 3.5MW. Our project pipeline comprises over 100MW of generation capacity that includes solar PV, biomass, and cogeneration/combined heat and power (“CHP”) power plants. Our strategy is to combine best-of-breed technologies and processes into solutions that can be effectively and responsibly deployed in individual locales. GSE also provides asset management services, which include operations and maintenance as well as administration, monitoring, marketing, and billing services. The Company has U.S. offices in New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, South Carolina, and Wisconsin and a European office in Agno-Lugano, Switzerland. (GSE) announced that it has obtained a Conditional Use Permit from the City of Jefferson, WI Planning Commission for its Jefferson Solar Park project located in Jefferson, WI. The listing comes under Section IIIA of the BSX regulations and as such trading is restricted to Qualified Investors. WHY SOLAR ENERGY
The amount of solar energy that hits the earth in any one hour period is enough to meet all of the world’s energy needs for an entire year! And it is free, and unlimited! Therefore, it is certain that in the decades to come mankind will find ways to utilize this free, clean, and unlimited energy source to power the planet. Solar is, without doubt, the future.
Jobs. Solar energy creates 7-times more jobs per MW than traditional generation.
Security. Solar energy does not depend upon fuels that need to be delivered to the plant, so events that could disrupt supply or deliveries don’t affect solar generation.
Sustainability. Once built, solar energy farms sit quietly, with no noise, no moving parts, and require very little maintenance. Since the sun is free, ongoing operating costs are low and not at risk of rising due to fuel prices. If we want to ensure an unlimited supply of energy resources for future generations, renewable energy is the way to go.
Biomass and waste-to-energy generation is a common sense part of the energy mix. Waste must be processed, so doing so in a clean manner that generates electricity and improves conservation is just common sense!
Generating energy close to where industry needs it, and doing so in a manner that enables the host business to utilize the heat that is a by-product of electricity generation is another common-sense solution. Cogeneration is highly efficient, clean, and helps business keep their costs down. It also helps to stabilize the power grid of today and provides myriad benefits to the Smart Grid of tomorrow.
